Gastonia Gym Directions
North Gaston High School 1133 Ratchford Rd Dallas, NC
From Interstate 85 – Take exit #17 Gaston College/ Highway 321.Both North and South
bound drivers turn left and go towards Dallas on 321 North. Take 321 North and exit at
the 1st Dallas / Cherryville Exit (about 2miles up 321). Go right at exit and go into Dallas.
Go to Oakland St and turn left (this is probably the 2nd stoplight). Follow Oakland St to
Ratchford Rd (about 1-2 miles) and turn left on Ratchford Rd. North Gaston is on the left.
Take 2nd entrance and parking is to the left or right.
From 321 South- Take the Dallas / Cherryville Exit. Turn left and goes into Dallas. Turn
left on Oakland Street (3rd stoplight) and follow the above directions.
Ashbrook High School 1 & 2 2222 South New Hope Rd Gastonia, NC
From Interstate 85- Take 85 to exit 22 (Cramerton / Lowell). Both North and South
bound driver’s turn left and the top of the ramp. SOUTH bound drivers go to the 3rd
stoplight (New Hope Rd) and turn right. Ashbrook is on the right (Park on the Food Lion
side of the school). NORTH bound drivers New Hope Road will be your 2nd stoplight
Hunter Huss High School 1 & 2 1518 Edgefield Dr Gastonia, NC
From Interstate 85- Take 85 to exit 22 (Cramerton / Lowell). Both North and South
bound driver’s turn left at the top of the ramp. SOUTH BOUND DRIVERS GO TO THE
4th STOPLIGHT (Hudson Blvd) and turn right. NORTH BOUND DRIVERS WILL GO
TO THE 3RD STOPLIGHT (Hudson Blvd). Stay on Hudson Blvd for about 5-6 miles.
You will pass a Taco Bell / Burger King / McDonalds on your right. When you cross
over the railroad tracks AutoZone will be on the left. Go to the next stoplight and turn
right on Lyn haven. Go to the next stoplight and turn right on Edgefield. Hunter Huss is
on the right.
Grier Middle School
From Interstate 85- Take 85 to exit 20 (New Hope Rd). Southbound drivers turn left
and go to the 4th stoplight (Burtonwood) and turn right. North bound drivers turn turn
Interstate 85right and go to the 3rd stoplight (Burtonwood) and turn right. Follow around
the curve and Grier Middle School is on the right. Park in the upper lot.
Yorkchester Middle School
From Interstate 85- Same as directions to Grier Middle. Turn Right on garrission Blvd
and go to the 6th stoplight this will be Trenton Ave and turn right. Yorkchester middle is
the school facing Garrision Blvd ( White School Building ).
East Gaston High School
I-85 South from Charlotte
Exit 26-Belmont Abbey Turn Left - Go to first light, turn left on Woodlawn. When road
ends, turn right on Hickory Grove Rd. Stay on this road until you get to the fourth
stoplight. There will be a East Gaston sign. Turn right onto Lane Rd. and the school will
be on the left.
29-74 South from Charlotte
Turn right at McAdenville-Crameton intersection. At first stop light, bear right onto
Hickory Grove Rd. Stay on this road until you get to the fourth stoplight. There will be a
East Gaston sign. Turn right onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.
I-85 North from Kings Mountain
Exit at Lowell-McAdenville, go thru McAdenville to the bottom of the hill in front of the
mill. Turn left at the light onto Hickory Grove Rd. Stay on this road until you get to the
fourth stoplight. There will be a East Gaston sign. Turn right onto Lane Rd. and the
school will be on the left.
Hwy 321 (Lincolnton or Dallas)
From Lincolnton, take the Dallas exit and turn left at stoplight. Go to the 5th stoplight
and turn left at Eckerds onto Dallas-Stanley Hwy. Go to the 3rd stoplight and turn right
onto Hickory Grove Rd. Go to the 2nd stoplight and turn left onto Lane Rd. and the
school will be on the left.
Hwy 27 from Lincolnton
Take Hwy 27 from Lincolnton to Stanley. Take a right at the stoplight next to CVS. Go
to next stoplight and turn left and then left again at the stoplight onto Hickory Grove Rd.
Go to the 2nd stoplight and turn left onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.
